Computer Recreation of San Andreas
On the basis of the size, type, shape and location of the structural artifacts discovered, Franck Goddio's technicians work to develop computer reconstructions of how a ship might have looked - before cannonballs or reefs, saltwater and time took their toll. This particular diagram represents the San Andreas, a fully-loaded galleon which was sunk en route for Acapulco - one stop in an active trade route connecting the "Spice Islands" to Spain in the era spanning 1575 to 1825.
