Because of their cultural and scientific significance Franck Goddio�s projects are being supported by the
Hilti Foundation
, a foundation of the Martin Hilti Family Trust.
The Family Trust is the principal shareholder of the Liechtenstein-based Hilti AG, a company with
wide-ranging international business activities. Hilti AG is the leading supplier of specialist equipment
for selected fields for the commercial building industry, and registered a turnover of approx. 3,4 billion
Swiss Francs in 2001 with a total staff of 14,400.
The
Hilti Foundation is an acknowledged supporter of cultural, social and scientific activities,
focusing on a small number of well-selected projects. Michael Hilti, President of the Foundation's Council,
is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hilti AG.
